Where Solid-Woven Flame-Resistant Belts Often Fit
Solid-woven (or closely related) flame-resistant constructions are sought when the carcass itself must resist ignition propagation and mines or plants prescribe certified FR belt types. Actual approvals are regional—always cite the belt test report for your jurisdiction.
Mining
Underground conveyors moving coal or similar fuels frequently specify FR solids to mitigate fire spread along the belt line when combined with sprinkler/CO₂ philosophy and housekeeping.
Metals and high-wear terminals
Hot clinker substitutes, furnace feed, scale, or sinter paths need covers that tolerate temperature spikes and abrasion; FR grades may intersect these duties near heat sources where plant rules demand it.
Chemical handing
Corrosive dusts or drips imply acid/alkali-resistant compounds on top of any FR mandate—compound selection is separate from the woven body’s ignition behaviour.
Adapted for Shenzhen Jinlong Conveyor Belt Co., Ltd.; confirm certified belt types against your inspector’s checklist before purchase.
